One of the things I love about summer, is the chance to create tons of interesting cocktails. I love using fresh herbs from the garden, and lately I have been playing with a lot of infused simple syrups. Last week I shared a Basil Simple Syrup, and now in this cocktail I used a lemon rosemary simple syrup. This cocktail is actually super easy to make, because I used the new product by Jose Cuervo, Iced Teagarita! Their new product consists of their classic lime flavored margarita, blended with Jose Cuervo Tequila and premium orange liqueur, then combined with refreshing iced tea- the perfect ...

Peach Margaritas
Living in Georgia, peaches are a big deal. Georgia peaches when in season are the juiciest, most delicious peach out there. There are so many varieties, over 40 produced just in Georgia, that there is definitely one that you have to love. Some are more sweet, others more tart, but the Clingstone variety is most popular for just eating straight up. I used that variety (which is likely what you find in your grocery store, too) for making these margaritas because it is juicier than some of the other varieties and always nice and sweet! These drinks are perfect on a warm day in the middle ...
Pomegranate Limeade
One thing I absolutely love about summer is hanging out with our friends, the kids, and being poolside. Last summer was filled with Strawberry Basil Margaritas and Blueberry Basil Margaritas by the pitcher. The pool never gets too hot with a fresh marg in hand! Well, this summer is a little different considering I have a little (I should probably refer to baby dos as big by now) bun in the oven. No margaritas for me…well, not until this little bundle of joy pops out in mid to late July. That’s okay…living in Georgia that means I still have 2 good months of pool/margarita ...
Easy Cranberry Margaritas
It’s no secret that I love margaritas, but I really love taking a couple shortcuts while making them. No one ever notices anything different when I make margaritas, so it’s really a win win. Making the perfect margarita doesn't have to be hard, and even with a simple substitution, you don’t sacrifice any flavor. I love the idea of Cranberry Margaritas around the holidays. Even though margaritas have a reputation of being a summer drink, by adding the more tart cranberries, it brings them down to a less tropical-fruity level. Even though the cranberries are tart, the ...
Watermelon Margaritas the Perfect Summer Cocktail
One thing I love about summer is summer cocktails. BBQ's, cookouts, potlucks...whatever you want to call them, they are all great excuses to make a fun cocktail! Not too long ago I received a big care package from Familia Camarena Tequila, which included their delicious tequila along with some bar tools! I was so excited to try it out! Their tequila is 100% blue agave, and known for it's smoothness. Usually I love making margaritas with berries (love these Super Easy Strawberry Basil Margaritas), but I thought since watermelon is everywhere during ...
7 Super Bowl Cocktails
Today is part 2 of our 3 part Super Bowl series, and we are going to focus on drinks! Now, I know most people probably say that they just want to drink beer or soda during the Super Bowl, but I think you should consider making a themed cocktail if you are hosting a party (or even if you are just watching at home)! I found some really cute and yummy sounding city themed cocktails, and there is a fair share for both Baltimore and San Francisco. Of course, I am not saying you shouldn't also have beer, but lets be a little creative! Lets start off with a classic Sunday cocktail, ...
