In just a few weeks we will be celebrating the 4th of July, and I wanted to add a little red, white, and blue decor to the house. Immediately I thought about our front door wreath and thought it would be perfect to spruce up! A few months ago I made a spring burlap wreath on our front door.... It was so easy to make with this Burlap Ribbon, and I also loved how it would be so easy to change around for different times of the year. I secured the numbers and flowers with wire, so they could easily be removed and changed out. However, when thinking up a 4th of July ...

With Father's Day only one week away, I bet there are a lot of y'all scrambling for ideas! My 2 year old son already told his dad what he is getting him....crackers. Makes it easy on me! Anyway, I decided to round up 15 really easy and basically free ideas that you can do with your kids to honor Dad on his special day. My Daddy survey free printable from Kinzies Kreations I love this free printable from Shanty 2 Chic. It is a super easy project but it looks so cute! DIY Spring Burlap Wreath
My front door has been looking pretty sad since....well, since right after Christmas really. Making a wreath has been on my to-do list, but I just haven't had the time to do it. I finally decided to bite the bullet and head over to a few stores to see what kind of spring wreaths they had for sale. If I can't make one, buy one, right? Wrong! I couldn't find anything I really loved an decided to really take the time to make one that weekend. I have had this tutorial for the Easiest Burlap Wreath you will ever make pinned forever, and decided to give it a go. I already ...
Spring Mantle
Over the last week I have shared a couple projects that I had made for my spring mantle. I was totally slacking and still at the end of February had my Valentines Day Paint Chip Banner hanging on the mantle (embarrassing!), so I knew it was time to get into gear. Last weekend was full of craft store trips, an Ikea trip, crafting, and putting together the spring mantle. This post is mostly picture heavy, because I don't have much to say about it, other than I love it's simplicity and colorfulness. I shared this with you last week, and it hangs from the mantle I ...
Sharing with Domestic Superhero Thursday Link Party #2
You guys!!! Last week was my first Link Party and I am so excited about how many people participated! We had nearly 100 link ups, and I was not expecting that, at all!! Thanks to everyone who posted! **I want to explain really quick for my readers who aren't bloggers, and maybe don't know what these link parties mean. In the DIY blogging world, link parties are a pretty popular way to bring new bloggers to your blog, and see different projects people are working on. You, as a reader can look through the links people post (see the bottom with all the small icons and ...
DIY Moss Birdhouses
I was browsing pinterest a couple weeks ago, looking for inspiration for a spring mantle. I found a couple really cute things, and then some awesome Moss Birdhouses from A Diamond in the Stuff. I decided to keep an eye out for wood birdhouses, and when I was at JoAnn's over the weekend, BAM, there they were, right at the entrance...for $1 each!! They have several different shapes and sizes, and I ended up purchasing the 2 most plain ones, because I wanted to do the moss on top of the roof. These turned out SO cute, and the only thing I had to purchase was the ...
