Since discovering Trader Joe’s 99 cent pizza dough a few years ago, I have been obsessed with making fresh pizza. I love topping it with my favorite ingredients, or just the ingredients I have laying around. It’s usually super cheap and easy, and nothing beats a 20 minute dinner. The Southwestern Pizza combination is one of my favorites because I love black beans and sour cream. I also love Mexican food, so anything resembling Mexican food is good in my eyes.

Thank you for your detailed photos. Now, if you can give photos for special pizzas for Autistic children for April is Autism month, our readers would enjoy it. Remember, they have gut issues – the gut and brain are connected. So, allergic to gluten perhaps or not.
Gluten free pizza dough is readily available in the frozen food sections of many big grocery store chains and there are a ton of different mixes.

That is interesting! I have never tried Gluten free pizza dough. Does it taste the same as regular? Or similar?
It’s a little different. The taste is the same–it’s the texture. Gluten is what gives dough its elasticity. My mum has celiac’s, which is why I’ve tried it. I’d experiment with different brands/recipes.
looks delicious! i love fast and cheap recipes!
YUM! I wouldn’t have thought to put beans and all those delicious toppings together on a pizza!
omg you would love it Lauren!
yummy! i love making fresh pizzas too – the options are endless. We use Flatouts as our crust though because it helps keep the calories down and the portions in control because I would scarf down that whole pizza if left alone haha
That’s a really good idea! I am definitely going to try that because it’s nearly impossible not to eat the whole pizza…
looks so good and it doesn’t even have meat!
This is a great meatless recipe option. With the hearty beans, you don’t even miss the meat!
YUM -yum!! ;D
